The Winter Phase of Arctic Expedition Launched

The winter component of Arctic Expedition (2008) was launched by Dr. P. S. Goel, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences at a function held in New Delhi on 1st March 2008.

 The team comprises:-

  1. Shri C.V. Sangewar, Dir., Glaciology Div., GSI, Lucknow
  2. Dr. S.P. Shukla, Geologist (Sr.), Glaciology Division, GSI, Lucknow
  3. Dr. B. C. Arya, Scientist, NPL, New Delhi
  4. Dr. Y. Nazeer Ahammed, Scientist, NPL, New Delhi
  5. Prof. A.K. Gwal, Head, Dept.  of Physics, Barkatullah University
  6. Shri Amit Jain, Dept. of Physics, Barkatullah University
  7. Dr. K.P. Krishnan, Scientist, NCAOR, Goa
