Sixth Scientific expedition to the Indian sector of Southern Ocean


 

Invites Proposals for  the forthcoming Indian Expedition to Southern Ocean

National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research, Goa an autonomous research organization of Ministry of Earth Sciences proposes to launch the sixth expedition in the ice free areas of the Indian sector of Southern Ocean. Duration of the expedition, to be launched in December 2011 from Mauritius will be ~ 45 days. Scientists / Research Fellows / Students from Scientific Organizations /Universities interested in participating may send the project proposal within the scope of Southern Ocean Research plan (Please visit www.ncaor.gov.in or contact 0832 2525512/513 for details) before 20th September 2011 in the prescribed format given in the website to Dr. N.
