USIEF officials visit NCAOR to promote Fulbright-Nehru fellowship Program

Dr. Diya Dutt (Dy. Director) and Sucharita Narayanan (Regional Officer & Educational Adviser) from the United States-India Education Foundation (USIEF) visited NCAOR on 11 June 2010 to promote the Fulbright fellowship program. The USIEF promotes mutual understanding between the nationals of India and the US through the educational exchange of outstanding scholars, professionals and students. Since its inception, USIEF has awarded approximately 15,000 Fulbright, Fulbright-Nehru, and other prestigious grants and scholarships in almost every academic discipline.

The USIEF officials discussed the various fellowships under the Fulbright & Fulbright-Nehru initiatives. The focus of the interactive session was to invite quality applications and prepare the prospective candidates for the prestigious fellowships. They also highlighted the existing opportunities under Fulbright program for inviting US experts to India under ongoing collaborative projects.
