The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, serves as the nodal agency for implementing the Indian Antarctic Program. Hitherto, forty-four scientific expeditions to Antarctica have been
successfully completed, and the 45th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (ISEA) is currently underway. The 46th ISEA is scheduled to be launched in October or November 2026, and the proceedings are being initiated through this advertisement (Download pdf to view full advertisement).

NCPOR invites interested and eligible candidates of Indian Nationals for filling up the Project Scientist positions under project mode on temporary contract basis through Walk-in-interview.

Date of walk-interview : 02.02.2026 (Monday).

Registration starts from 08.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Candidates reporting after registration time will NOT be allowed to attend interview. If the interview is not completed on the stipulated day, the interview will be continued to the subsequent day.
