NCPOR advances in Swachhata Hi Seva

On 16 April, Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR administered the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming NCPOR’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainability, and the Swachh Bharat mission. As part of Swachhata Hi Seva, NCPOR’s Standing Committee for Swachh Bharat Activities conducted a beach clean-up at Baina Beach, Goa on 17 Apr 2026. About 70 participants from NCPOR and students from Deepvihar High School, Mormugao, covered ~1 km and collected 18 bags of waste.

The activity presents a strong example of community action for cleaner coasts and environmental stewardship.
